James is a 30-year ‘veteran’ of the industry starting on modern sailing yachts in 1996 and ending up on the classic ‘Haida 1929’. After 15 years as Captain on all sorts from a 37m classic to 74m new build. James now runs his own consultancy company, Tillow Marine, providing owner representation and consultancy on all topics related to Super Yachts. His is passionate about safety and mentorship, giving those still at sea support to continue their own career development.
