Captain Arie Nygh AM FNI FITA

Arie has 50 years’ experience in the maritime industry of which 42 have been as a master, training master, marine manager or marine consultant.  Most of this was in the towage sector where he has trained over 1500 tug-masters, and he has overseen the establishment of towage operations in 23 ports. He is patron of the International Tugmasters Association and in 2019 he was made a Member of the Order of Australia for services to maritime transport.
