Verena started her seafaring career as a deck cadet in 2017 and has sailed on various types of vessels, including traditional sailing ships, feeder vessels, cruise ships, and large container carriers. After graduating from the University of Wismar in Nautical Science, she has been working at Hapag-Lloyd AG as a second officer. In 2022, she earned a master’s degree in Operation and Management in Maritime Systems.
