Julke is a Master Mariner with a BSc in Nautical Science and an MSc in International Marine Environmental Consultancy. She has served on container ships, expedition yachts, and NGO vessels before moving into technical advisory roles with ITOPF and the IMO. Her career has centred on maritime emergency management and environmental protection. Today she works independently as a technical consultant and mediator, dedicated to strengthening communication and conflict culture in the maritime sector.
