Mooring lines dipped and bollards tested to 50T SWL with the date of last test stamped on a metal plate on each bollard. Other port authorities should demonstrate a similar level of safety management at the interface between ship and shore. It is not a difficult task to do but despite the equipment being safety critical, it is rarely checked!
