Ignacio started as a pilot boat deckhand in 1991 in Valencia port, Spain and spent 20 years as a pilot boat coxswain.
After being closely involved in a fatal accident of a pilot in 1992, he developed a deep concern about safety. Ignacio has been very active on Social Media since 2013 trying to promote common safety and in 2017 he moved ashore to be in charge of Health & Safety for Valencia Pilots.
