We are committed to all aspects of data protection and take our duties to comply with GDPR regulations seriously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GDPR places specific legal obligations on CHIRP.\u00a0 We will have legal liability if we are responsible for a breach of confidential data. Members, reporters, recipients of FEEDBACK newsletters and anyone applying to CHIRP for a voluntary or paid role, have a right to request sight of the data we hold on them, how it is used and, if necessary, to request that data is removed from our systems.<br><br><strong>WHY INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND HELD<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal Information is limited to that required to run the Trust including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Details for the various stakeholders \u2013 name, telephone, postal and e-mail address contact details.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staff and contractor information includes home address and payroll information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Details in order to process reports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Whilst corporate contact details may be provided to process reports or share safety information, no further personal data is collected without the individual\u2019s consent.\u00a0 Such data will be kept accurate and up to date whenever possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>HANDLING OF INFORMATION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A data subject may e-mail <a href=\"mailto:mail@chirp.co.uk\">mail@chirp.co.uk<\/a> from the data subject\u2019s email address for details of the information held.\u00a0 All data requests submitted will be dealt with promptly and the Data subject notified within one month of the outcome of the request. \u00a0Requests can cover the following rights,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To be informed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Access<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rectification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Erasure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restricting processing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data portability<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Right to object<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Right to automated decision-making including profiling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>No marketing information will be sent without consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personal information will be held securely in accordance with Chirp\u2019s confidentiality policy and Security Directive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information is processed with certain third parties for the purposes of running the charity.
