Rob is a lifelong aviation enthusiast and a Class Rating Instructor with FCL.945 privileges for single-engine aircraft. His involvement in aviation has given him a deep appreciation for the importance of safety, professionalism and continuous learning, both in the air and on the ground.
Rob serves on the CHIRP GA Advisory Board because he believes strongly in learning from experience and using that insight to help improve general aviation for everyone. He advises that CHIRP’s commitment to open reporting, reflection and shared learning aligns closely with his own values and desire to contribute positively to the aviation community.
Through his role on the board, he hopes to support a culture where pilots and others in general aviation feel encouraged to learn, improve and speak openly about safety.
