Graduated from Odessa National Maritime Academy, faculty of “Deep Sea Navigation” as B.Sc. with rewards in 2005. M.Sc. with rewards in 2007, Ph.D. in “Navigation and Motion Control” in 2010, and D.Sc. in “Navigation and Motion Control” in 2021 from the same institution.
Worked for over ten years onboard various merchant and offshore vessels and has similar expertise in maritime education and training.
During his time onshore worked for a number of educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad, chief editor of NUOMA research journal “Shipping & Navigation”
